World Record Musky Dies of Natural Causes

Treelands Musky Jaw:

History Channel is showing the reconstruction of the Musky Jaw that was on display at Treelands for years. The jaw was 1.5" wider than a 52" mount they used as a starting point. The Reconstruction Mount ended up being just over 6' long and over 72#...This was the jaw they found in 1998. Very interesting.

Did not see the program on History Channel BUT I guarantee they didn't take into account the Chips history of musky body type. It would of weighed more than 72 lbs. since the Chip's musky's are usually so much thicker especially on a 6 foot fish. Just my opinion!
