Hi everyone,
Saw alot of ice on my trip around the Big Chip today. (I drove my truck, not in my boat!) The west fork of the Chippewa river is open to Moores bay and including Moores bay according to Ty Sennett and I saw open water in spots such as the "CC" bridge by the landing especially west of there. The boat landings at "CC" South and North are still packed in ice. The ice is pulling away from shore in most areas but still a lot of ice. I'm afraid we will have lots of ice on the opener.
The weather calls for 6-12 inches of snow tonight into tommorow night with the lows in the twenty's and the high not making it out of the thirtys so a cruel forecast to say the least. If your coming up to fish,if you can't get around in your boat, there are some shore oppertunities. Where? Be ceative, you'll find them. Good luck fishing everyone.
