Just wondering if anyone has been doing any perch fishing in the kipling area lately. I know the weather hasnt been the best but just wondering if they r still biting. I`m hoping to get out after work one of these days this week. Thanks for any info.

Been pretty quiet the last 4 or 5 days due to the lousy weather. Talked to a couple people that were out this morning. Sounded like the water temp had dropped into the mid 40's after all the north wind, and the fish were scattered and biting very light. Sounded like the most fish were still up near the Days River area, and wigglers were the best bait.
There should be some good perch fishing well past the start of walleye season, this year. Chase 'eyes in the morning, then go after perch during the day.
