TFF Update

Tuesdays early morning rain ended so my client and I did make it out fishing. The walleye action started out a little on the slow side and what action we did have were all from smaller eyes and all came from shallow, 3 to 4 feet of water. Wasn't till around mid day when the action picked up and so did the size of the eyes we caught. Once again weedless jigs tipped with a large fathead or 1/2 crawler did the trick. Working a stumpy shelf that topped off at 4 feet and dropped to 8 foot was our hot spot this day as we boated several nice eyes on this spot. No bass action at all but we did get 1 jumbo perch to add to our live well. That perch by the way was the first one of quality size that I have seen this spring, but then again I have not spent any real time searching for them. Also, during my time on the water this spring I have not seen any musky following up on any of our eyes we have caught, usually they can take a few eyes away from you.

Back out again today, will keep you posted.
