TFF Update

The past few days have once again seen some good walleye action. Using 1/8th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either large fatheads or 1/2 crawler, my clients and I found the majority of our eyes in depths of 4 to 10 feet in and around submerged wood, and others in 10 foot plus over mud bottom. The eyes that were relating to the mud were taken by a very slow retrieve, just dragging it over the bottom, while the ones relating to the wood were taken on a much more aggressive jigging method. Mayfly larvae once again filled the stomachs of many of the eyes.

Fishing with the wife today and hoping for continued walleye success.
