TFF Update

Thursdays big change in the weather really had the walleye on a feeding frenzy. After several days of warm weather and lack of wind, the cool down and north winds kicking up had the walleyes stacking up on the wind blown shorelines that had the most structure, weeds & wood. Using 1/8th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with 1/2 crawler, we worked these areas through out the day and boated a total of 41 walleye, several smallies, perch, and also the hammer handles. All these fish came from depths of 6 to 10 foot, and all but one eye came on crawlers, probably could have caught more on minnows, but we stuck with the crawlers due to the big perch that were also on a good bite. No sign of mayflies yet.
