Just returned from a week at WB with the whole family. Fishing for smallies was great as usual for this time of the year. Water temps were low to mid 60's depending on sunlight. Walleye fishing was sporatic. We did manage to get a 24.5", 25" and my wife got her personal best of a 29", but we really worked for those. My daughter has been wanting to get a "big" northern pike and the biggest she got was a 38", not a world record by any means, but her personal best and the smile on her face was certainly "world record". All in all, another awesome week at WB. The smallies certainly saved the trip (the biggest at 18") and the weather was incredible with only one day of rain and it wasn't for that long. Otherwise, sunny and pleasant the entire time. Thanks to all at WB for their hospitality and graciousness for making our family vacation a fun-filled week.
