Tim from Mauston and his friend Bob from Franklin, Wi booked an early morning trip on "The Rock", but we got a late start waiting for the storms to leave the area. Started the day jigging in three different spots with mixed results, so we put the planer boards in the water and trolled. The amount of floating weeds and grass makes it really hard to keep the baits clean long enough for a fish to grab it. These walleyes don't like salad, they just want the meat. We ended the day with 1 in the slot, 11 "shorties, 3 crappies, 12 white bass, 2 cat, and 2 sheephead.:D Tough bite today after the big storms again over-nite.:(
