The Bait Shop Guy

I had some rods with cork handles that needed a good cleaning. I've tried various methods in the past - sand paper, soapy water, ect... Did a quick Google search and found where somebody suggested using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. We had one laying around the shop, so I gave it a try.
All I can say is "HOLY WAH! IS THAT EVER SLICK!" Wet the scrubber and just rub the grime away. When you're done, just wipe down with a paper towel and you're good to go. Cork comes out looking as good as new.
I took a couple before and after pics of one of the rods I did this to, today. First one came out blurry, but it's pretty easy to see where your fingers wrap behind the trigger of a baitcasting rod when you cast. Second pic is after going over the grips with a magic eraser. This is how I'm cleaning my cork handled rods for now on.
