Supermoon?

Just wondering if anybody tried their luck at night fishing the super moon? I've heard some good reports elsewhere.
A buddy and myself went out just before dark last Saturday and fished till 3. I managed one small guy on my blades just after dark at moonrise. We had several blowups on topwater, but no hookups. I wish I could've fished more over the weekend, but work comes first.

Not sure if it has been related to the supermoon but we have been seeing and catching some giant smallies over the past few days with most coming on musky sized baits. The esox fishing has been typical for this time of year at least for my boat.
