TFF Update

A double whammy on Saturday as my clients and I faced fairly strong NNE winds along with the continuing mayfly hatch. Dealing with these conditions, we spent the day working various wind blown shorelines with scattered wood/weeds and found a decent number of fish that wanted a jig/crawler combination for a snack rather than another mayfly. Using 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a half crawler, we found a good number of eyes of which 5 were good size keepers along with several smallies, pike, and panfish. I might note that these fish were not on all spots that we fished, only a few spots produced our catch so it really paid to work as many areas as possible.
