Bill and Matt from Madison had a trip planned for this morning on "The Rock". Nice morning, very little wind. Jigged until we ran out of live bait. The short walleyes and catfish about ate everything we had. Pulled cranks behind boards and the small walleyes and whitebass were everywhere. Stopped counting "shorties at 40, and whitebass at 20. catfish count was 9. Leeches and minnows on dead rods, and bright jigs in the timber, #5 Flicker Shads and Shad Raps over mid-lake humps. No keepers today!
