Hi everyone,
Fished with my buddy Josh from Hayward today for about 4 hours. We only had time to hit three spots, but that was because we were catching to many fish to have to move. When we headed home, we had boated 17 walleyes keeping a nice two man limit of 15-17 inchers. caught many more in that range and several smaller ones but released them untill we decided it was time to go clean fish. Caught rock bass and a northern that were released too.
Only used leeches on lead-free jigs as we didn't have minnows. The water temps were back down to 75 from 78 last tuesday. Fished the deep wood pattern again and the walleyes were there feeding heavily. The weather started out bright sun but clouded up with a storm brewing off in the distance. Wind was brisk from the SW and got stronger. Time to clean fish so good luck fishing everyone.
