Weather turned HOT again. A great week for fishing and other lake activities with all the crowds relating to both July 1 and July 4. Walleyes still hot on the reefs/humps. Livebait will be your best choice. A jig and minnow is almost impossible to beat when you are fishing reefs. Several fish in the 26"-28" range caught and released with the biggest being a beautiful 31" beast.

Northerns active up in Obabikob lake again as well. For pure action, it is tough to beat fishing 2-6 feet of water with spoons and small spinner baits. The pike will bite all day long.

Muskies have started to be a little more active, with several big fish caught and released up to 49" this past week and multiple bigger fish seen. One groups best tactics were fishing smaller bass sized spinner baits. Black and orange was the ticket in their boat. Bucktails and jerkbaits produced action as well.

Weather looks to be a little cooler with chances of rain in the forecast for this coming week. Water temps are HIGH (75-80 degrees) so please use EXTRA care when handling fish you plan to release.

Have another great week on the water!!!
