How hot does the water temp get in the lake. When does it peak out .

I have seen the lake as high as the mid 90's on hot afternoons in late July and August, but that is the surface water temps. Early mornings are usually in the upper 80's. Hottest water temps are normally in Early to mid August, and won't be back into the 80 degree range until September. Please don't target muskies until the water temps are below 80.

Water temp was 91.1 yesterday afternoon. Much cooler about 5 feet below the surface.

The cool nights over the weekend really dropped the water temps. 78 degrees in most areas I fished yesterday. Should be back above 80 by this afternoon. Fishing was great in the rain yesterday. My biggest was a 21 inch LMB. Top 5 would have gone 20lbs.

The post talking about 78 degrees temps was 07/31 I am sure after the heat we have had, they are much to high now. If anyone has been out and can give an update on water temps it would be appreciated.
