The Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club will be holding it's 12th annual Wal-mart Bays Classic walleye tournament on Sunday, August 11th. Entry fee is $60 per team. Both team members must be paid members of the BDNGLSF. Each team will be allowed to weigh 5 fish. Launch will be from the North Shore access, but weigh-in will be at the Gladstone harbor. Due to VHS regulations, this will be a catch and kill tournament. Food, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, and paychecks will follow the weigh-in.
In addition, there will be a free kids tournament held in the Gladstone harbor, while the adults are fishing in the lake. Registration is from 11:30 to noon, with fishing from noon to 1:30. Kids should bring their own gear and bait, and must be accompanied by an adult.
