Lake Mendota: Pan fishing remains excellent they have been found in several locations around the lake (hatch cover, picnic pt. 2nd pt., berrly bar, city shore line and university bay.
The perch have been working tight to weed edges or out in 20-25 feet of water. The best presentation has been dead sticking a 1/8 t0 1/16 oz dropper rigged with a 1/64 oz jig/mini mite/bugs or 1” gulp fry minnow. Bass fishing is good they have been holding near weeds, weed lines and deep rock bars the best presentation has been a split shot rigged crawler or drop shot plastics like a Houdini worm.

Lake Monona: Pan fishing: Excellent fish are schooled up across weeds and outside of the weed lines lines and suspended over the basin form 15-35 feet of water. The best presentation has been split shot rigged half a crawler, vertical jigging small spoons, and slip bobbers., Musky fishing has been good lots of fish are showing themselves only a couple of takers.

Lake Waubesa: Excellent depending weather and time of day. The bass have been relating to weed lines in 14-16 feet of water. The best presentation has been a weed less splits shot rigged crawler or casting deep diving crank baits or drop shot plastics to schools of bass. Pan fishing remains excellent they have been found in several locations around the lake. Crappie and Bluegills have been suspended in 20-25 feet of water. The best presentation has been drifting casting with a 1/64 oz jig minnow or mini mite and 1” gulp fry minnow. Musky fishing has been good best presentation has been cast large inline spinners or bull dog type lures along the deep weed lines or trollng deep diving crank baits.
