[Jerry Tipping]

I had a split trip on "The Rock" today with Tod Murphy from Westchester, IL. Tod and his father-in-law Jim took the morning session, and in the afternoon Tod, his wife Julie, and 5 year old Seamus rounded out the trip. They are here for a week and have never fished the lake before so I gave Tod and Jim a tour while we pulled flies along channel edges and below the dam at Petenwell. Just some "shorties" with the live bait so we switched over to cranks late morning and stayed with this for the remainder of the day. We finished the day with over 50 "shorties, 2 "keepers", 1 in the slot, 1 cat, and 1 sheephead.:D
