Hi everyone,
Got out for the afternoon yesterday and looked for walleyes. With very warm air temps with a raging South wind I found several walleyes biting fairly well. Since I was not guiding I would move after catching a walleye to find more spots with active walleyes. I wound up with 6 in the boat with three being keepable size and had several more hits that who knows what they were and also boated bass and bluegills releasing everything. The action was better then it had been lately.
Water temps are st 75 degrees and with the predicted hot spell with plenty of sunshine looming, I would expect the water temps to rise even more in the next week. The heat index is at 100 degrees for the next two days. Great for water sports so come on up and enjoy it. Good luck fishing everyone.
