Hi everyone,

Guided Jarred and Andy yesterday morning and thier wives Carrie, and Kristen in the afternoon picking them up from Treelands resort. The walleyes are starting to get more active as we boated 11 but released everything because they were to small. Also got some crappies and perch. Caught more fish in the A.M. with heavy clouds and two minutes of rain with a strong NE wind and cool air temps. It cleared off at noon and got down right hot again with a steady NE wind. The water temps cooled to 76 degrees and hopefully will hold there for some stability.

Caught everything on the lead-free jigs and minnows. Tried leeches but nothing wanted them. Fished deep wood and a sunken bog that tops out at 8 feet. Had action every place we fished. Saw a bug hatch again toward late afternoon but not to thick. The algae bloom is at it's peak but still not to green. the bug hatches and algae bloom are two more good reasons to fish down wind. The picture shows Kristen and Carrie all smiles about to release one of the typical small walleyes we caught. Good luck fishing everyone.
