Hi everyone,
Guided Mark and his son Joe from California who are staying at Indian trail Resort for a full day today. We set out in pursuit of MR. Walleye under cloudy skies and cool air temps with a brisk wind blowing out of the SE. Fishing the deeper wood with the new PROaggressive lead-free jigs tipped with minnows, We found not only MR Walleye, but lots of crappies and perch. We led 9 walleyes into the net keeping 3 and releaseing the rest and keeping about half of the crappies we caught and 3 of the perch. Of interest the weather made a major change in the afternoon to a heavy cloud cover with light rain and the wind died down and the fishing improved dramatically. The water temps remained steady at 72 degrees all day.
Pictured is Joe holding a released walleye he caught on a PROaggressive jig. Next picture is Joe and his dad Mark holding a sampling of the days catch. Walleye fishing seems to be on the upswing. Good luck fishing everyone.
