Hi everyone,
Guided Dan and Jack out of Deerfoot resort yesterday. Supposed to be a full day but we were blown off the lake by the wind and Lightening . We had threatening skies all morning and while we were eating lunch a storm blew through and we thought we had lucked out. So out we went after lunch and got caught in another storm right away. Called it a day and I'll pick them up this afternoon to finish our day.
The bite was real slow with all the fish biting very light. We did catch 2 walleyes and a slew of crappies and a big 'bull'gill. All on my PROaggressive jigs tipped with minnows in the deep wood. The thicker the wood the better. My new inline jig does not snag up as much as the standard jig so we spend more time fishing, not tying. Good luck fishing everyone.
