I had the same group yesterday as on the 19th. It was a tough day for us but no line respooling and only one hook to the finger yesterday. I would consider that a victory.
I'm expecting some big fish this week for sure.
As a side note, I saw some of the strongest current I've ever seen on the Chip the other day over by Hay Creek Narrows. Must have been some serious pressure changes and wind switches going on.

wonder if the draw down of the flowage could be what it is, noticed it go down a good 18 inches in 2 days

!8 inches in two days......what days were those? I'm guessing you meant 1.8 inches

that would have been around the weekend of the 14th of Sept, noticed the shoreline growing on the southeast end, guesstimate it went down around a foot and a half to expose that much more shore.

The water level being as low as it is isn't too far from normal at this time of year. It's not that they are drawing it down, it's just that mother nature doesn't drop as much rain in July and August as she does in April and May. Plus there is the spring runoff from the snow that raises the water level in May. Don't fret, this is normal. I guess we'll have to find another excuse for why we didn't catch a muskie.
