Hi everyone,
Guided Dale and Dave to a full day of walleye hunting yesterday. Picked them up at Dales cabin
down by Indian Trail resort and with a beautifull sunny fall day with a strong SE wind and cool air temps and a water temp of 63 degrees, we found the walleyes being very finicky. Fishing in the deep wood with my PROaggressive lead-free jigs tipped with minnows we were able to coax a few of them into the boat. The action was very slow for most of the day but covering lots of water we netted 4 walleyes keeping 3. We had a good assortment of crappie,perch, and bluegills to add fillets for a good Northwoods fish fry for them.
