I tried catching some bigger fish last night to throw in the kids pond at the Great Lakes Sport and Recreation Club. I only managed to land one fish, but it was a pretty nice one. Measured 19 inches, but would have been 20+ if it's back wasn't all jacked up! It had a body more like a giant rockbass, than a smallmouth!
The Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club is hosting the fishing pond, while the Sport and Rec club will be holding various archery and shooting activities for the kids, as part of National Hunting and Fishing Day.
