The fishing action for walleye and crappie has remained very good since my Sept.24th posting. Most of the action has been coming out of deeper water over rocks or wood and have mostly been taken by vertical jigging either 1/16th or 1/8th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium large fatheads. I've been out every day since the 23rd and every day has seen limits of both eyes and crappie with the exception of yesterday, that's because we set the minimum size for crappie at 12 inches, we ended with 10 crappie from 12 to 14 1/4 inches. Most of the eyes and crappie caught yesterday came out of 18 feet in river channels over what appeared to be a big submerged tree top.
