Musky fishing the last few weeks has been about as inconsistent as the weather. On the colder cloudy rainy days the action has been pretty consistent, on the warm sunny days things have been pretty hit and miss. On the cloudy days when the fish are active try using larger bucktails and bull dawgs. On the warm sunny days crankbaits and jerkbaits have been best. Muskies have been located on both shallow weed flats and hard bottom drop offs, so check both types of areas to see where the fish are holding on the body of water you're fishing. When we get some sustained cooler temperatures the action should get better and much more consistent. Good Luck!!
