John and Greg, two Milwaukee Firefighters booked a morning trip on the river above "Pete" We had a strong west wind and sporadic snow showers all morning. Started pulling flies from the mouth to Yellow Banks and boated some "shorties and 1 crappie. Worked our way up-river to a few more spots, then went up to Nekoosa and pulled cranks for a while. Finished with 2 crappies, about 15 "shorties, 1 white bass and 2 little smallmouth.:rolleyes:
