The ice is pretty good in most of the bays, when you get outside the points you have to check ice it goes from 14 inches to 6-8inches as you go out and thinner. We were out yesterday fishing White Fish for a couple of hours then we hooked up with a fifty pound Sturgeon that took two hours and ten min. and pretty much took care of the fishing in the area for a while. We found out what we wanted and know where to catch some white fish, Perch and walleyes at times (early AM & late PM).
