Hi everyone,

This year I joined the Musky and Snow ATV and snowmobile club. As a member I volunteered to be on the grooming crew and have been involved in keeping trail 18 in excellent condition. If you are wondering where to go for your winter snowmobiling vacation, Go to the Hayward area. I can vouch for trail 18 being in great shape because we are out grooming almost everyday. With the solid base and snow every other day, we've been able to keep snowmobilers happy on our smooth trails.

This year 3 of the resorts on trail 18 have a 'BANDANA RUN'. Stop at Deerfoot lodge on the Chippewa Flowage, Woodhaven resort on Callahan lake and keep traveling down trail 18 to The Golden Rule resort on the Tiger Cat Flowage. Enjoy your favorite beverage while you have your card stamped and after just one stamp from each locale, you will win a trail 18 Bandana!! There are two other resorts on trail 18 that are not participating in the Bandana run, but after you win your bandana, stop in to R%R Bayview and Johnsons resorts to enjoy your favorite beverage and show off your prized trail 18 bandana. You can't buy these, you have to earn them. So come on up for a memorable vacation on some of the best kept trails in Wisconsin for smooth snowmobile trail riding. Oh, and keep an eye out for us groomer drivers. we are dedicated to keep the trails smooth and well maintained for safe riding. Enjoy everyone.

Hi everyone,

Spent 7 hours with two other groomers on trail 18 with chainsaws and got her opened back up and groomed. Lots of trees went down with the weight of the snow. Now the trail is smooth and with the abundant snow clinging to trees it is absolutely gorgeous. Hook up your sleds and come up to enjoy heaven on earth. One word describes the Northwoods right now-Paradise.
