Anyone know of anyone in the Hayward area that does a good and thorough job at cleaning Shimano Calcutta TE reels? thanks

I don't know of anyone in Hayward that does reel repair. I would send it in to Shimano. They are really good about cleaning them for dirt cheap.

I've always gone to Jenk's to get my reels fixed, but don't know if he'll be there to do that since he sold the place. He fixed my Record in like five minutes...I had put the gear in backwards...duh!

Randy from Jenk's sold the shop this winter. I don't know if the new owner is fixing reels or not. Randy never liked fixing the newer reels but was really good at fixing old Abu's.

Mat's Reel Repair in Eagle River... Here's his number and 715.571.7544, check with him to see how to get it to him and other info. He seems to be doing a great job since he started!!!
