Over the weekend I fished with Rachel in a northern pike tournament and we caught quite a few fish but nothing of any real size. The weather was nice so it was still fun.
yesterday I had some clients out for crappie and walleye. It was tough for us. We didn't do much deep water fishing for walleye because the wind was pretty crazy. A boat over at Chief lake Lodge sank and someone's boat lift canopy flew off over there also. Even the crappie didn't want to hit yesterday. We caught about fifty but only had a half dozen keepers. We also kept one walleye and a nice pike. Seemed like a good walleye day but I was wrong.
