Yesterday I had new clients Kurt and Kurt out for an eight hour trip. They picked up casting pretty quick and stuck it out through a morning of never ending rain. We had two follow Vexer's in the afternoon and that was it for us. Pretty slow for the most part. In the evening I had brother's Jim and Mark out for the first time. We fished for three and a half hours with nothing and then had two hit Rough Runners in five minutes. We had one other hit a Stillwater but not sure what that was. I blew one big one bad. I seem to always miss my first topwater hit every year. At least now I have that out of the way.
