Never made it out on Saturday with my son due to the weather, but did make it out on Sunday with guests Tom and Joel for a half day and we had fairly good success. With winds out of the NE, we worked mostly wind blown shorelines with weedless jigs tipped with either fatheads or 1/2 crawler and found a variety of fish in these areas. Bays with the most weeds and wood combo produced the better action as we boated a good number of eyes, perch, rockbass and pike. Not all areas produced eyes as expected because they were stacked with too many pike, guess they don't mingle well. No action to speak of in the deeper water for eyes but we did come up with some nice jumbos in these areas. NOTE, we did notice some mayfly activity on the south end, not the larger type that causes all the problems, but mayflies as well, the big boys will be here before too long.
Back out today, will keep you posted.
