Hi everyone,

Guided Kevin and his daughter Kendall out of Treelands resort for walleyes on a late afternoon early evening 1/2 day trip. The walleyes were biting from the first cast to the last cast. 10 year old Kendall led the way with the most walleyes and Kevin did the honors with the biggest. We boated over 20 walleyes and had many more hits we missed. Caught a ton of bluegills that are now starting to show up out in the deep wood and rounded out the evening with a couple big perch. The biggest walleyes were a 24 1/2" beauty caught by Kevin who followed that up with a 19 1/2". Of the 20+ walleyes caught, most were over 15" but we released every fish we caught.

The pattern for this evening was again the deep wood using my new inline lead-free PROaggressive jig. It works through the snags very well. Leeches produced better then the minnows and most of the bluegills were hooked on the bobber rig. It was a beautiful evening with a partly cloudy sky and just enough wind from the South to make a good walleye chop. The water temps were at 72 degrees. I'm booked through July 11 and am starting to get booked for the rest of July and into August. Call soon for your day on the water. Good luck fishing everyone.

Hey Maxx, we saw you on the water this afternoon. Larry and I are up for the weekend. So far we have caught 10 walleye, biggest being a 22"er that I got yesterday. Most of our walleye have come casting beetle spins in the shallow weeds. Sure was windy out there today.

Hey Tony,

Good to hear from you. I hear Larrys got a new trailer at TMR. Tell him to give me a call. We could do some fishing. Is his website going back up? I still get questions from lots of people about his website. It's also good to hear that the walleyes are starting to be weed oriented again. That's a fun pattern. If you guys go to Haywrard tomorrow, look me up at the Hayward flea market out at the sports center. I have a booth there every Monday through the summer. Good luck fishing.

Caught 5 pike, 2 walleye and a crappie throwing beetle spins and a husky jerk between 6am-7;30am on a weedy flat in 6'-9' of water. Kept a 16" walleye and a 27" pike to take home. Then the wind picked up yet again and was hard to fish in any of our spots. Maxx, I relayed the message to Larry, sounds like he may give you a call sometime in the near future.
