Guided Scott Curtin on Friday and Saturday. Got off to a late start on Friday while waiting out a big storm. Finally got out at about 7pm. Had 2 up on top waters before finally getting on to eat a flaptail. Even though it was a little guy (35") it was a cool strike and took every trick I had to trigger him into a strike. Had another on eat a top water later. This was a upper 40". Had him hooked and to the boat but hooks popped out at the boat.
Saturday started where Friday left off. Scott stuck a nice 40" on a top water. Happy for Scott as it was his first fish of the year. Fished the rest of the day with no action.
