Fishing action the past 3 days has been very good with all the action coming from walleye and crappie. During these past 3 days, my 2 guests and I found the crappies buried deep in the cribs and also in the downed trees from the tornado. Vertical jigging these areas with 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium fatheads done the trick on numerous slabs. The walleye action was also very good, despite the fact we never fished for them before noon on any day, working 12 to 18 feet of water over scattered submerged stumps and laid down timber, we found many active walleye and they were more than happy to take our big lively leeches and crawlers, no action from the eyes on minnows in these areas. Not much activity from the smallies or pike the last few days, just 1 smallie and 1 pike.
