The walleye fishing at this lake has been going extremely well over the past couple of months. The biggest fish caught so far has been a 29" walleye with lots of other close seconds. Minnows have been working extremely well and have definitely been outperforming leeches. The system is higher than normal on account of all the rainfall in the region but it hasn't put a damper on the fishing. A few days there have been thunderstorms going through which have kept some of our guests off the lake. Spinners have been working very well in gold and orange. Also larger spoons in gold/orange for the pike. Check out our site for more information http://www.gopickerel.com/pages/unexpected-lake.php22492
