Walleye action has continued to be a little on the slow side while the crappie and perch action has continued to be very good. Doing a half day trip on Saturday with guests, Mike, Syd, and Bob, we worked a series of submerged stumps in 8 to 14 feet of water and found 4 keeper eyes and 4 big jumbo perch, all on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium fatheads. We then moved on to work a half dozen cribs and we ended up with 17 crappie off of them. Yesterdays walleye action wasn't too bad, but most of the eyes ran on the small side. My guest, Don and I started with the submerged stumps and once again found some very nice jumbo perch as we boated 6 big ones along with 5 eyes with only 2 that were keepers. We then moved to some wind blown shorelines and boated what would be our last two keeper eyes of the day out of the weeds. With limited time left we hit a couple of cribs and boated 7 big crappie to end our day.
