[Jerry Tipping]

Out with Bill from Bloomingdale, IL on "the Rock". Cool start to the morning with rain in the area. We could see it falling north of us, but luckily we stayed dry. Started jigging and put out two dead rods and boated 8 "shorties", and two crappies, and had some come off when lifting them in the boat. Trolled for a couple hours without catching anything, not even a white bass. We ran the baitshigh, we ran them low, we trolled shallow water, we trolled deep water, nothing doing. In hind sight, we should have kept jigging.:(
