TFF Update

Not a whole lot to report on Wednesdays trip other than the fact the walleye bite was once again on the slow side but the crappie bite was good and that made the day. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with extra large fatheads, my guests Ron and Brenda and I started out working wind blown weedy shorelines and we found just 3 keeper eyes with a few other throwbacks and a smallie. After working other similar areas with no results we decided to go after crappie to make a large fish fry for them and that paid off as we ended up with 10 big slabs. With the approaching storm, we hit as many cribs as we could and only a few produced fish before we decided to get off the water.
