TFF Update

Saturdays half day trip with very special friends, Philip, Dennis, and Spanky went very good as we spent the morning working various deep submerged stumps and also some cribs and we ended up withy 33 large crappie, 1 jumbo perch and 2 keeper eyes with a few other smaller ones tossed back. Using 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with small to medium fatheads, we worked in and around the cribs and deep stumps, you had to lower your bait at a slow rate because many of these fish were suspended 3 to 4 foot off the bottom while other were a mere foot off the bottom. A great morning of fishing with Spanky and the Gang. A special thanks to Philip, the owner of Jones Family Farms for the gift of the worlds greatest tasting bacon and also the tubes of stuffed pork sausage.
