TFF Update

The past two days has seen very good crappie action and improved action from the walleye. Crappies are being taken not only in the cribs and deep brush piles, but also by drifting the main lake basins with weighted crappie rigs tipped with small to medium size fatheads, this drifting method also has been producing some decent walleye action. Both Monday and Tuesday, my guest Virginia and I caught our share of big slab crappie in these areas and we also had some pretty good action from the walleye, caught a good amount both days with 4 kept on Monday and 6 yesterday, not to mention many small throwbacks. Our biggest eyes by the way came from deep river channels, all on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads.

Back out today for a half day trip, will keep you posted.
