Despite the fast drop in temps and the NE winds a howling, Mondays fishing action was pretty darn good. Fishing with guests, Don, Brandon, and Brian, we found walleye action pretty much everywhere we stopped and tried. Using 1/18th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, we worked mainly deep river channel bends and also river channels with good big rock structure and found many walleye in these areas, problem was trying to find a good keeper in the bunch. We did however end up with our limits of 12 eyes and also had a good day hitting the crappie here and there in deep wood and river channels and ended up with 14 big slabs. Great time guys, an enjoyable day.
