Mark from Manhatten,IL booked his annual fall trip for this morning on "Pete". Low 30's at the launch at 7 am, but with no wind It was nice after we quit running across the lake. Jigged and dead sticked large fat-heads on the channel edges, and trolled cranks for a while. The dead rods produced the best results. We had well over 30 "shorties", 1 in the slot, and 8 white bass We cleaned 1 legal, and three big white bass so Mark could have a fish fry for supper.

The long range weather forecast for the remainder of the month is staedy temperatures in the low to mid fifties. A lot of time to get in some great fall fishing!
Keep a tight line!!!
