Lance from Black River Falls booked a trip for today on "Pete". He was interested in finding spots for ice fishing as well as soaking a few minnows. I mentioned he should bring a GPS so he could mark specific submerged trees as well as areas to drill holes over this winter. We jigged and used dead rods tipped with leeches and big fat-heads along channel edges while he marked trees, and boated 1 27 inch slot walleye, 4 "shorties", and about 14 white bass. A really slow bite this morning with the cold front and NNW winds. Water temperature was 50 degrees.;)
