Deck the halls, or hauling the deck. The dynamic (and lazy) duo at work removing the old deck from the barge in preparation to re-decking it this spring. Not all were successful. I'm sure Jordan can come up with a few epic fails.

Nice bit of engineering there to get the job done.

Good news. It's strong enough to hold Kringle up. The real test will be Scarlett.

If we use the fuel hose as an arresting cable maybe Jeff can land a war machine on it!?

Already landing a war machine on it. A white Ranger. However, I like the arresting line concept. Been known to come in a little hot. Especially with a strong north something wind.

On the end near the hose reel, did you make a bobsled run for the end of the winter season? It also does appear that you used all the boards for the re-decking. Nice job.

Used up all the boards???? I don't think so. Still have two bundles staged to rebuild the bridge.

As long as it holds you up.

I'm guessing 140 boards. That was without trying to count off the picture.

Should be close. 72 feet, and boards are a full 6". Guess an average of 3/8" between the boards. And about 35 used under the deck for a skeleton.

I don't want to say I'm bored today, but there are 134 boards on the deck.

Wow, Jeff was always good with measuring wood, usually in inches though.... like 3-4 inches.

True Steve. That and "throwing the bat" and going hand over hand to get to the top of the baseball bat to see which team got to bat first! I would practice that at home by myself.

And did you get different results each time?
