Fished yesterday afternoon and this afternoon and it was damn cold out!!! Luckily the wind layed down.
Yesterday was a no show for fish in 26 ft of water on the upper bay. Today was better fishing south, but not great. Between 2 of us we had 3 shorties and one just shy of 25 inches. Marked fish earlier and there was NO prime time in the evening. Was in 30 ft to 12 ft. Still pretty slow but making good ice and should be able to head further south soon if this keeps up. Bring on the cold, calm nights.
