Beautiful day on the water. Tim from Tampa FL and his friend Craig from Minneapolis had a get-together scheduled for this weekend along with 14 other friends for Craig's bachelor party:p, so they booked a guide trip for this morning before the rest of the group arrives. We launched at the park on "Pete" and tried a spot on the lake for a few minutes and boated one catfish, then went up the river to Brown's and got into a bunch of big white bass there. Trolled cranks for about an hour and finished the morning with 1 cat, 6 "shorties", and well over 50 white bass.
Water in the river temperature in the upper 40's to low 50's and is still running fast and dirty, but the fish are getting active.
