Hi everyone,

Sorry about the late report. Guided A full day Friday for two members of the royal order of Raccoons who were staying at Tiger Musky Resort. The fishing was very slow with very few walleye and bluegill, but the emphasis was for these guys- fun over fishing. The Royal order of Raccoons boast they are a drinking team with a fishing problem. They proved that on Friday. The whole group met on Picnic Island for a cookout whish included the initiation of two new members with the beer flowing and a whole lot of singing. Yea, it was a blast.

The few fish we caught were on PRO.jigs tipped with leeches. We tried minnows too but they did not even get bites. We fished mainly deeper wood with a couple shallower weedy spots for good measure. The deep wood had more action. The weather was mild temp. wise with a walleye chop that developed from the west. We had clouds all day with a mist mixed in occasionally. Water temps were 56 on the east side and 57 on the west.

If you are in need of a guide, give me a jingle. My May is full, but have about 5 days in June and about 8 in July open. Good luck fishing everyone.

Not much for reports on the various sites, walleye fishing must be slow. Larry and I will be up at TMR Memorial Day weekeend Sat-Tuesday morning. Hopefully they start biting!

Hi Tony,
Walleyes are so up and down with the weather. Yesterday guided two guys from Missouri in 33 degree air temps with a strong North wind and snow for a half day. We caught fish but had to work for them. Being from a warmer state, they were ready to call it a day early.
I'll be in Eagle River for this weekend. Setting up at the Bob and Rocco gun show. Good luck fishing. Make a report on how you do.
